Jason Belmonte Wins 2019 PBA DHC Japan Invitational

Jason Belmonte won the DHC PBA Japan Invitational at Tokyo Port Bowl on Sunday for his fourth title of the 2019 Go Bowling! PBA Tour season. This was his 22nd career title.

“I’ve traveled to Japan to bowl for fifteen years and I’ve never won,” Belmonte said in the PBA Release. “Winning in front of the Japanese crowd means a lot; I’m very honored.

Team Storm’s Tour Representative, Tim Mack, was on site to help our Team Storm players with their arsenal all week long. During qualifying, Mack woke up with an idea for a drill and layout for Belmonte. They decided to drill the Exclusive Marvel Strike an international release which helped him through the end of the tournament into the stepladder finals.

On the TV pair, Belmonte chose to throw an original Hy-Road and Hy-Road Pearl to ultimately defeat Jakob Butturff 224-213.
