Over 400 bowlers took to the lanes to compete in the 2019 National Tenpin Bowling Association (TBA) National Disability Championship which took place in Canberra, Australia. According to TBA’s official website, the tournament which is open to all TBA players who have a who have a disability (defined as a person who suffers from a condition that has limitation, restriction or impairment that restricts everyday activity. The condition is permanent.).
There are multiple events throughout the weekend including Open State Team Challenge, Open Masters, Restricted Masters, and Classic Masters.
In the Open Masters event, James Sitters of New South Wales defended his title exclusively using Storm Products. Sitters chose to throw his Phaze and Phaze II and led the qualifying rounds. Sitters threw a 278 game in the final round to earn the 2019 Open Masters title. He has now won the 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 titles.
Sitters hopes to return to the United States in 2020 to compete in some PBA Tour events. Thanks for choosing to throw Storm, James!
