BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Storm Products Inc. (SPI), is proud to continue their sponsorship agreement with the Japanese American National Bowling Association as the brands of Storm and Roto Grip will support the 2022 JANBA event in Las Vegas, Nevada which will take place March 6-12, 2022.

JANBA is the showcase of all Japanese American bowling tournaments. The organization is dedicated to creating an atmosphere where bowlers can compete while meeting others who share a love for the sport.

“At Storm, our purpose is not only to inspire existing bowlers and but also introduce new fans to the sport of bowling by creating a community,” Leanne Hulsenberg, Tournament and Events Manager said. “JANBA shares these beliefs and beyond that has created a family through their events. We’re excited to continue our agreement with this great organization as their national event returns to the lanes in 2022.”

JANBA isn’t just one tournament, it’s a new event every day. It’s an exciting week with a variety of formats and activities. Though the events were canceled due to the pandemic in 2021, approximately 500 bowlers will travel to Las Vegas in 2022 to compete, reconnect, and celebrate friendship on and off the lanes.

“The camaraderie of the bowlers is most important,” Jeff Okumura, JANBA President and Salt Lake City Regional Representative. “It’s not just about the bowling, this group is Ohana (family). Many lifelong friendships have resulted from participation in this tournament.”
