BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Storm Products is excited to a partner with the Gazmine Mason Foundation (GMF) to offer the opportunity for two youth athletes to attend “Storm Nation Career Day” on October 18, 2022. This scholarship will provide these athletes with a behind the scenes look at the different career paths within the bowling industry.

“Our dedication to growing the next generation is important to the team at Storm Products,” Gary Hulsenberg, VP of Marketing said. “We’re excited to collaborate with Gazmine Mason and offer this opportunity for youth athletes to visit Storm and learn about opportunities that exist within the industry. Every youth athlete who has passion for the sport may not aspire to compete as a professional bowler, but they still may want to work within the sport. The GMF is offering a ‘golden ticket’ for two youth athletes to learn what other opportunities may exist.”

Any youth athlete who is between the ages of 12-18 can apply for this opportunity. They must provide an official school transcript as well as a letter of recommendation as part of the application process. Those youth athletes chosen will arrive on Monday, October 17 and depart on Wednesday, October 19.

“This is similar to the idea of ‘Bring a Child to Work Day.’” Gazmine Mason said. “With this opportunity youth athletes will be able to explore the different opportunities within the sport of bowling from accounting to marketing to creating the bowling balls, there’s so much that goes into creating a bowling ball behind the scenes. I’m so excited for this opportunity to exist.”

Applications are now open and will close on June 30, 2022, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time and the winner will be announced August 1, 2022. You can start your application here:
