BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Storm Products Inc. (SPI), is proud to continue their sponsorship agreement with the Oregon Junior Classic Tournament Association (OJCTA) as they enter their 48th season!

Each season the OJCTA hosts 10 events with four different age divisions and all skill levels. They are focused on education and competition but like to encourage building friendships along the way.

“We’re as much a social group as we are a competitive group,” Gary Yamasaki, OJCTA Tournament director said. “Our motto is, ‘Where friendships are made’ and we very much do our best to live up to that motto.”

The Pacific Northwest was hit hard by the pandemic and bowling centers in this area were closed for a very extended time which affected bowling. As the OJCTA enters the 2023 season, they look forward to entries reaching pre-pandemic levels and encouraging new bowlers to come and try a tournament. They’re looking forward to returning to some of their longer formats.

“At Storm, we try to connect our passion for bowling to the events we sponsor,” Leanne Hulsenberg, Tournament and Events Manager said. “Supporting tournaments and education for youth bowlers across the country is very important to us. We’re excited to continue our agreement with the OJCTA and continue to support their efforts to bring new bowlers into a sport they can play for a lifetime.”

“We appreciate Storm so much, not only for what they do for our organization, but for all that they do for youth bowling in general,” Yamasaki said.
