Storm Continues Agreement with South Sound Tour

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Storm Products Inc. (SPI), is proud to continue their sponsorship agreement with the South Sound Tour based in Washington.

The South Sound Tour hosts 16 events per season and has more than 150 members. They’ve built a bowling tour for bowlers created by bowlers. The formats of the events are based on feedback of their bowlers. Bowlers provide feedback and the tournament organizers discuss the suggestions and adjust formats accordingly.

“We like to give back to the bowling community through our events,” Randy DeBolt, Tournament Director said. “Each season, we randomly have drawings for a lucky bowler to win a full season pass through raffles that allows the winner to bowl all season at no cost.”

The South Sound Tour has become a place where bowlers create friendships and make memories. For the 2022- 2023 Season, the South Sound Tour will feature a Doubles Championship as well as a Triple Elimination Doubles Event with the winners being crowned as season champions.

“At Storm, we strive to create positive experiences, inspire existing bowlers, develop new bowlers, and create bowling enthusiasts,” Leanne Hulsenberg, Tournament and Events Manager said. “We’re excited to continue our agreement with the South Sound Tour as they continue to support the community and bowlers through their events.”

“We are proud to continue our partnership with Storm for this season and appreciate all that Storm has done for our organization and others in our community,” DeBolt said.

    1. Hello Russell! We released all the information regarding the USBC National Tournament Exclusion Rule as it occurred in March. The vast majority of all competitions in the United States and Worldwide have continued to allow the Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global balls that are affected by the USBC National Tournament Exclusion Rule to remain in play. These balls continue to be USBC approved for well over 95% of all other tournaments worldwide.

Check with your league to determine if the Phaze 4 has been excluded from competition but we have heard very few instances of this occurring. If something has changed, please contact

The exchange portal closed on June 1.
