BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Storm Bowling is known as The Bowler’s Company because we love all bowling. We love to bowl. We love to have fun. We love to educate, and we love to give back as much as possible.
At Storm Products Inc. (SPI), charitable giving is vital to our brand purpose, and through various activities funds are raised and education occurs about meaningful causes throughout the year. In 2023, SPI has added Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to our companion organizations and support their mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
Bowl For Kids’ Sake is BBBSA largest and longest-running annual fundraiser and they take place in many cities across the United States. The SPI team believes that bowling is an activity you can do for your whole life, and often the skills are passed down through generations. We celebrate that BBBSA uses bowling to connect others in the community and have joined BBBSA to raise money for Bowl for Kids’ Sake in Utah this year to help support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite youth’s power and promise all year long!
“It’s exciting to continue to support new missions and organizations in our charitable giving efforts,” Leanne Hulsenberg, Tournament, Events and Charity Manager said. “The Chrismans have always led with their heart and share their desire to pay it forward to others with every employee and team member of Storm. SPI is excited to begin to work with BBBSA and support these meaningful and life changing mentoring relationships.”
Storm Products Inc. put together three fundraising teams representing the brands of Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global and the pages have raised $5880 through the help of fans around the world as of today for the Wild West Bowling Round-Up in Utah. Donations are still being accepted by clicking here. We’re proud of the efforts of the SPI teams and are excited to keep raising funds for BBBSA through additional exciting activities that will be announced soon.
In addition to supporting the Wild West Bowling Round-Up through fundraising, SPI Team Members and PWBA Champions, Stefanie Johnson and Shannon O’Keefe will be appearing at the event and meeting with bowlers at the event on March 4 at Olympus Hills in Salt Lake City.
“I’m proud to have been a big sister myself for 7 years mentoring my little sister, Ruby, and now being able to support the BBBS organization in a different way through our bowling platform that is so rewarding,” Stefanie Johnson said.
“I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this journey. The impact BBBS has on America’s youth and their future, is important and it’s humbling to help support such an incredible organization,” Shannon O’Keefe said.
This is just the beginning of our collaboration with BBBSA and the entire team at SPI is eager to join in their mission to empower youth to achieve their dreams. More information will be released in the coming months.
